Applying WBS concept into costing. Details to be include such as Fixed cost, Variable cost and Other cost for our cost.

Lesson learnt is to use WBS to carry out our Risk assessment and analyzing our project. We are to first list out the top 5 issues that we want to assess and analyze. We should be able to identify the type of risks that will have impant on the project.

The risk to be categorised as High/Low impact, High/Low probability risk. After specific identify of the risk, we have to think of solution to counter the risk that might occur. We have to think like ' How can we reduce the probability?' and ' How can we reduce the impact' so to reduce the risk.

Tutroial 4

Today we are to make use of our mindmap to create precedence table and to draw out the Activity on node ( AON ) chart with the forward and backward flow. With the use of the Work Breakdown Structure( WBS ) to do scheduling, costing and risk management.

We are able to create out AON chart with respect to the deadline given so to have the completion time and float for the project.

With the AON chart, there is some definitions such as:

  1. Earliest Start Time (EST)

  2. Duration

  3. Earliest Finish Time (EFT)

  4. Lastest Start Time (LST)

  5. Lastest Finish Time (LFT)

  6. Float

  7. Total Float

With such definitions, we would be able to plan out our project in a more efficient way.
